“The Soul becomes dyed with the color of it’s thoughts.” Marcus Aurelius AD 180-121
This quote is as true today as it was when it was written thousands of years ago. Our thoughts have power over our perspective - both positively and negatively.
What would it look like if we chose to believe the best in each other rather than assuming the worst?
What if we sought actual truth rather than choosing to live with half truths based on experience or even what we’ve been taught?
What if justice for all was truly our mantra?
What would the world be like if we chose to see loveliness in those we don’t understand rather than ascribing evil to the differences?
What would our lives look like if we saw God for who he is and walked around in the world as his actual kids rather than choosing to be victims of trials, people, and systems?
“... whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
